Easter Celebration: The Great Vigil Bonfire Worship
Join us for an outdoor celebration of Easter on Saturday, April 3rd, at 7pm. As the day turns to night, we will celebrate our Lord’s victory over darkness with song, drama, story, and light. Experience one of the oldest worship services in Christian history in a new and exciting way. This worship celebration will include music from our choir and praise band, dramatic and creative readings of Scripture, and other fun surprises. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, and stick around afterwards for a sweet treat from Kona Ice!
This is a family-friendly celebration, and we will have ways for kids to engage and even participate. If you have kids who may come with you, let us know so we can be sure we’re ready for them!
The service will take place in the gravel lot outside the Family Life Center on the north end of our campus.
**COVID Guidelines (outdoor)**
Masks are required as you are coming and going, and any time you are within 6ft of others not in your household. Please also wear your mask when singing.
Pray for no rain on Saturday! If the weather requires we postpone the service, we will move the outdoor Vigil Celebration service to Sunday, April 4th, at 10:30 am, taking the place of our regularly scheduled Sunday services.
We will have our Easter flower cross out for the Saturday service as well as between the buildings on Sunday morning. We invite you to bring cut flowers to add to the cross before Saturday’s service starts.
Sunday Easter Worship
Join us for worship on Easter Sunday to celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection and defeat of death and darkness! We will have New Life Contemporary Worship at 9am in the Family Life Center and Traditional Worship at 11am in the Sanctuary. Read more about our worship and indoor COVID guidelines here.
